Lower Alabama Hunting Retriever Club has its home on the Gulf Coast of Alabama, near the vacation favorites of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. It is also located near the historic eastern shore of Mobile Bay. Of greater importance, it is located in the very center of some of the best dog country in the US. Geographically, we are about half-way between the Thomasville-Tallahassee area, the Black Warrior folks from Tuscaloosa and the Ponchartrain folks from NOLA. It is in this area that a group of dog lovers with significant field trial and hunt test, AKC and HRC, experience gathered to form what will become one of the most formidable clubs in the country.
