and Standard Poodles
This Hunt Test is held under the Rules and Procedures of the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB.

TESTS, SCHEDULE AND ENTRY FEES

Master 8 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 $65
Senior 8 a.m. Satuday, February 18, 2006 $60
Junior 8 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2006 $55
Senior 8 a.m. Sunday, February 19, 2006 $60
Junior 8 a.m. Sunday, February 19, 2006 $55

Courses and Birds:  Ducks will be used in all tests.

Prizes: 
Qualifying dogs will receive A.K.C. Rosettes and Duck Bands.  Ribbons will be mailed for a fee of $5.00 per stake. If the dog should fail to earn a qualifying score, the payment shall be retained as a donation to the club.

Refund Policy:  Refunds will only be made for those dogs withdrawn because of injury, illness, death, or bitches in season. A veterinary certificate is required to verify injury, illness or bitches in season and must be submitted to the Hunt Test Secretary. All scratches are subject to a $15.00 processing fee. All requests for refunds must be postmarked within 10 days of the last day of the hunt test.

Other:  We are privileged to be able to use area farms for this event. Please dispose of waste properly. Please air dogs in the designated exercise areas only. Portable toilets are located in the exercise area.

Tailgate Party:

  • Please join us for a pig roast Saturday evening outside the lodge.  Bring a chair and come hungry.  Ribbons and duck bands will be awarded to qualifiers and call backs will be announced.

Cell Phones, Etc.

  • Cell phones, beepers, and pagers will not be allowed anywhere in the gallery, and especially at the line.  These have the potential to significantly disturb the working dog and handler.  In the spirit of good sportsmanship, please leave them in your vehicle.

Attire:

  • Participants, judges, and workers shall be attired in dark or customary hunting attire which adequately reflects a water fowling or upland hunting environment.
